Overseas Kids Foundation

Rowan is managing trustee of Overseas Kids Foundation, a charitable trust currently focusing on Vietnam and providing financial and advisory support for some of the poorest communities in the country.

Assistance includes enabling access to an education for needy children, supplying equipment books and furniture to schools and developing community projects aimed at overcoming the poverty cycle. Based on success in the community of Minh Hac, and by invitation from the Provincial Government, the program is now extending to four communities totalling some 15,000 people who will benefit from improved facilities and from new business development projects.
