What a wonderful night of celebration for our 58th birthday. It was an evening full of formality, entertainment, presentations, fun and fine feasting.
The highlights included:
Operatic performances by Stephen and Julia. It was the perfect music for the occasion.
A short session with our two remaining charters members Ian Knight and Tino Ballan who took us on a trip down memory lane, way back to the early days of the club.
Recognising not just the club's birthday but also the 10th anniversary of the Werribee Rotary Op Shop.
Awarding of a Paul Harris Fellow to Robyn Ballan, wife of Charter member Tino Ballan. A very well deserved recognition. Her proud family members surprised her during the presentation.
Induction of new member Andrew Madan.
A diverse audience of members, partners, friends of Rotary and representatives from neighbouring Rotary clubs, Wyndham and Hoppers Crossing.
A sumptuous meal planned and prepared by our versatile club president Luke.
In summary, it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening with an appropriate agenda befitting the occasion.
